Deleting your data

Last updated: September 5, 2026

This page explains how to delete data held by Beauty & Tattoo Creator OS, whether you use the app yourself or you are a client of a studio that does.

1. Which of these are you?

  • You use the app — you are an artist or studio with an account. Sections 2 to 5 are yours.
  • You are a client of a studio that uses the app — your details were entered by that studio, or you messaged them on Instagram or WhatsApp. See section 6.

2. Deleting individual things yourself

You can do these in the app at any time, and they take effect immediately:

  • Disconnect a channel — Settings → Connections → Disconnect. This deletes the stored access token for that Instagram or WhatsApp Business account. We can no longer read or send anything on it.
  • Delete a client — this removes their record, including the name, contact details and notes you entered, together with the photographs stored against them.
  • Delete a photo or a piece of content — removes the image files and the derived versions we generated from them.

3. Deleting your whole account

There is currently no in-app button for this. To delete your account and everything in it, email development@unicornfounder.ai from the address your account uses, with the subject Account deletion request.

We will confirm the request, then delete:

  • your account and sign-in details;
  • your studio and profile information, including branding assets;
  • every client record you created, with their notes and photographs;
  • your conversations and any stored message content (see section 5 on what we keep and for how long);
  • the access tokens for your connected Instagram and WhatsApp Business accounts;
  • the push notification token for your device.

We complete deletion within 30 days of confirming the request, and usually much sooner. We will tell you when it is done.

4. Revoking our access at Meta

Deleting data here is separate from withdrawing the permission you granted at Meta. You can do that yourself at any time, and we recommend it alongside a deletion request:

  • Facebook — Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations → select Beauty Creator OS → Remove.
  • Instagram — Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → Remove.

Removing the app there stops any further access immediately, including any messages that would otherwise have been delivered to us.

5. What is deleted automatically

  • Instagram message history is never stored. Conversations are read from Instagram each time you open them and are not written to our database.
  • WhatsApp message content is deleted after 30 days. WhatsApp does not let an app re-read a conversation, so the text of a WhatsApp message is stored in order to show you the thread. A scheduled job deletes anything older than 30 days, every day, automatically.
  • Deleting a conversation deletes its messages with it.

6. If you are a client of a studio

If a studio holds your details in Beauty & Tattoo Creator OS, that studio decides what is kept and why — they are the data controller, and we hold the data on their behalf. The fastest route is to ask them directly; they can delete your record, your photographs and your conversation from within the app immediately.

If you cannot reach them, or you would rather not, email development@unicornfounder.ai. Tell us the name of the studio and the name, phone number, email address or social handle they would have for you. We will verify the request with the studio and act on it within 30 days. We may need to ask you for enough information to be sure we are deleting the right person’s data, and we will not ask for more than that.

7. What we may keep

We may retain a minimal record that a deletion request was made and completed, and anything we are required by law to keep, such as billing records. These are kept for no longer than the law requires and are not used for anything else.

8. Questions

Email development@unicornfounder.ai and a person will answer. If you are in the EU or UK and are not satisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to your national data protection authority.
