Facebook doesn’t continue after you confirm in WhatsApp

When you connect your WhatsApp Business number, Facebook asks you to confirm in the WhatsApp Business app and enter a code there. Sometimes, when you come back to the browser, Facebook’s page keeps waiting as if you hadn’t done it yet.
What to do
- Make sure you finished in the WhatsApp Business app: you tapped Confirm and entered the code.
- Go back to the browser, to Facebook’s page.
- Reload that page. Tap the reload button next to the address bar.
- Facebook now shows the next step. Finish the remaining steps.
- At the end, your browser sends you back to Smaipa, which finishes connecting. If your browser asks whether to open the app, allow it.
Reloading doesn’t undo your confirmation in WhatsApp.
Still stuck?
Close Facebook’s page, go back to the app and connect again under Settings → Connected accounts. If that doesn’t work either, get in touch and tell us which step you got to.
